李長榮集團正式宣布其建置於屏東林邊鄉及佳冬鄉等地的「養水種電」太陽能電廠已於去年11月通電,目前總發電量達12.3 MW,為現今全臺灣最大的太陽能廠發電量,約每小時12,300度電,一年可減少12,000公噸的碳排放量,約相當於10個大安森林公園一年的吸碳量。此計畫更榮獲遠見雜誌「2012年遠見雜誌企業社會責任獎」之肯定,獲選為「社區關懷組」之「首獎」,李長榮集團旗下之福聚太陽能董事長楊賽芬女士於今日出席頒獎典禮,代表李長榮集團受獎。

為響應八八水災災後重建工程,李長榮集團配合屏東縣政府於災區發展「養水種電」太陽能光電計畫,自2011年向農民以20年一期約租用土地,建置太陽能電廠,幫助災區毀損農地轉型的同時,讓土地休養生息,並在福聚太陽能楊賽芬董事長的大力倡導與支持下,雇用當地農漁民管理太陽能板,達到增加就業機會、改善農漁民生活、災區土地復育與社區轉型等多重效益,打造出全台灣最大太陽能電廠,更讓災區躍升為臺灣發展綠色能源的最佳典範。

Data analyst reveals heroic computational exploits – using data for higher purposes

SAS in-memory architecture to span SAS Analytics offerings for verticals and more

HONG KONG (May 2, 2012) – Responding to customer demand, SAS is extending the new SAS LASR Analytic Server across its portfolio. The leader in business analytics software and services is providing more organizations with rapid, accurate insight from their big data.

HONG KONG (May 2, 2012) – Insurance fraud is escalating – up 19 percent since 2009, says the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB). To detect more fraud, reduce false positives and improve investigator efficiency, insurers now have the latest version of SAS Fraud Framework for Insurance, from the leader in business analytics software and services. Chartis becomes a world leader in the science of safety with SAS

【本報訊】清晨起床,人手一杯咖啡,工作疲累時又以抽菸提振精神,煙漬、咖啡漬的堆積,可能將牙齒從白染黃。台灣美容植牙醫學會專科醫師梁智傑表示:「牙齒天生就是淡淡黃色,有些人因為後天吃藥,或長期食用容易讓牙齒染色的食物,讓牙齒漸漸被染色成黃板牙。」

許多人對牙齒的顏色有一些迷思,認為刷牙可以清除長期累積在牙齒的黃垢,華仁牙科梁智傑醫師表示,刷牙主要是為了維持牙齒的健康,避免牙齒受到牙菌斑的破壞,並保持口腔衛生。導致牙齒變黃的原因不僅是齒垢問題,最主要的原因則是平時的飲食習慣,使色素殘留加速,這並非刷牙是就能解決。

【本報訊】隨著國人對口腔保健的重視越來越強,台灣也逐漸邁入高齡化社會,牙齒全口重建以及植牙的需求更甚以往,而攸關手術成敗的因素之一「牙科人工植體」成為研發的重點!植牙技術在近一、二十年普遍於台,以台灣市場而言,每年約有250,000顆產值,但人工植體市場主要仍由以歐美國家為主的國際大品牌所把持。近兩年,台灣開始推出自有品牌的植體,但台灣若要打進現有供應鏈,必備的條件是先製造出優良的產品再加上充沛的行銷資源才能在市場中競爭。

台北市牙科植體學會理事黃怡豪醫師說,目前的植牙成功率依照多個醫學中心及文獻資料顯示,經過嚴謹正規的治療程序,植牙的成功率已可以高達95%-97%,但此成功數據並不表示一般市面上的植牙成功率。

【本報訊】提醒民眾偏方千萬不要亂試,網路盛傳,將新鮮草莓打成泥,敷在牙齒上天天刷,就能美白牙齒!?有大學生刷了2個月,結果牙齦嚴重發炎,刷出牙周病。台北市牙科植體學會理事黃怡豪醫師提醒,草莓的果酸PH值只有3.0,將草莓泥刷在牙齒上會看起來「感覺變白」,其實是琺瑯質被「酸蝕」,食物的色素反而更容易附著在表面凹凸不平的牙齒上,看起來更黃。
 劉小姐看了網路流傳的偏方,把草莓打成泥當牙膏,天天刷,每次停留5分鐘,還用小蘇打水漱口,但草莓PH值為3.0,往牙齒上刷會使牙齦經不起刺激,看起來稍微變白的琺瑯質,其實被「酸蝕」破壞了。劉小姐說:「希望牙齒白一點,看起來會比較好看,用草莓泥刷牙過程最痛的話,就是輕輕碰(牙齦),它就會有點出血,吃東西的時候,牙齒變得很敏感。」
 黃怡豪醫師說明,酸蝕的結果在軟組織(牙齦)上,的確會有些受傷,就好像皮膚碰到鹽酸;而黃種人的牙齒天生就比白種人黃,牙齒太白,反而看起來皮膚更黃。許多人愛追求牙齒美白,但是合適自己膚色的牙齒才是漂亮的齒色,太白的牙齒反而會讓人有「假假的」、死白的感覺。

 牙周病的好發群雖然多為高齡族群,但並非年輕人就不會有牙周病的機會,如果不仔細的刷牙,牙齦累積牙菌斑過多,就會有牙周病的風險在。黃怡豪醫師表示,尤其現在網路世界五花八門的偏方都有,若因為了嘗試偏方而忽略了正確的刷牙習慣,就會導致牙周病的提早侵襲。
 黃怡豪醫師提醒,平時一定要注意口腔清潔,除了早晚刷牙外,刷牙時間也要至少3分鐘以上,裡裡外外需都仔細清潔,定期找醫師洗牙檢查,另外還可以用牙線輔助,避免食物殘渣卡在齒縫,造成牙菌孳生。
